Pink Clove.

First off!
Heeeeeyyy baby gurrllll! ;)
Anyone who watches Total Divas and/or is a Diva fan will get that referrence and anyone who doesn't, won't!

Above is my first picture in my "Selfie Sunday" series. Every Sunday up to christmas (and probably a little while after that) I will post a selfie either here and/or on twitter & instagram !

Anywho! I got some NEW PLUS SIZE CLOTHING from a very lovely online site called pink clove ! I got 6 items and actually got an array of different things. Ranging from a pair of leggings, to a dress! Yes, you read correctly: a dress!
In fact let's start with that little beauty!

Tartan Skater Dress: 26/28: £22

Now I do apologize for the mess in the background, as it got a little dark outside so I had to have the pictures taken inside, in my sister's room!
This tartan skater dress is a little beauty. Now I DON'T wear dresses...EVER! I've never really had the confidence and hate showing off my legs. It really gives me anxiety in all honesty. But I'm so glad I got this dress. First off it's a skater dress so in MY opinion, it is very flattening on a bigger frame. I like the print of the dress and don't think it is as overpowering as I thought it would be. I must admit when I opened the packaged I was a bit intimidated by the look of it!
The sizing is very true to size, I got this in a size 26/28 (you can't chose the individual sizes, you have to get a / size) and it fit well. The belt is a little cheap feeling but that is to be expected as it came as a freebie I guess.

The quality is REALLY nice actually and there is a good weight to the fabric. It will definitely keep you warm in the colder months. I just paired it with some basic black tights.

Roses ombre tshirt: 26/28: £15
Black skater skirt: 26/28: £10

The next outfit is made up of two/three of the items I got from the store. Again, paired with black tights, I was pushed out of my comfort zone and got a skirt. It's also a skater skirt so I was really excited to try that! My sister wears some skater skirts and they look really nice on her. So I thought I would give them ago.
This waffle jersey skirt is quite basic but a really nice material and will most likely go with anything. I paired it with the ombre roses top which is basically a dressy t-shirt. You can't see the ombre effect on the top as I paired it with the skirt and obviously it covers it up, but if you follow the link you can have a look. Basically, the pink fades into a sort of greyish colour. The sleeves are black and so is the back so it's not too overpowering. And there is an exposed zipper on the back also which gives it a nice touch.

Red/black cardigan: 26/28: £12

I paired it with another item I got from Pink Clove. A beautiful swing cardigan that is red and black. I thought it tied in quite nicely with the top and it made a colder evening rather more bareable. I love the quality of the cardigan. It is SO soft and a really nice material! I find it is the perfect length and perfect size. I did actually order a size up (30/32) but they gave me a 26/28 which I actually prefer, however had it gone the other way, it would of not been so good!

Grey/black peplum top: 26/28: £12
Blue/black check leggings: 26/28: £10

This next outfit is a bit more casual. All of the pictures turned out blurry so this is the only decent picture I could retrieve from the bunch! My apologies!
This outfit was kind of just thrown together for purpose of the picture, however, looking at it I do kind of like the combination! The grey and black peplum style top is nice but I felt like it was a bit tight. It might just of been the lycra-esque material but I wasn't overimpressed with it! I really like the design and look and it felt nice enough, just not amazed by it like the I was with all the other items!
The contrast peplum top is really nice, the peplum is not too high, nor too low and gives a nice peplum shape. I still think it's a really good price for the quality and style and I have lately become addicted to peplums. I will definitely be wearing this alot!
Talking of things I will be wearing a lot, these blue and black check print leggings were a total steal! Retailing at £10 they are the best quality leggings I have tried. However, they do seem to run a little small, depending on your size. I normally wear a size 20-22 legging but got these in a size 26/28 for "just in case" reasons. I was a little shocked when they fit perfectly! The waist is a little big though but on the leg they fit perfect. Now I don't know if that is a good or bad thing, sizewise!
Anyway, I absolutely love these leggings! Everything about them, from the fit to the print to the price! Ah-Maze-Ing Darling! (Sorry, had to get a strictly come dancing line in there somewhere, as I've been addicted to the series so far!)

The clothes are all fantastic quality. The customer service was great and the social aspect of the company was nice too. They were very quick to respond to my tweets and facebook message and were very supportive. I am very happy with their product and will definitely be buying from them again. I often find that, especially with plus size clothing, it is very hard to buy nice quality, fashionable, inexpensive clothes nowadays. But Pink Clove ticks all the boxes!

Here are all the links to each item and the link to Pink Clove also!
They also have a 30% off tops sale on at the moment, so hurry up and have a look before it runs out!
Definitely recommend getting some of their great clothes!

Michael Kors Lilly.

Hello lovelies!
So yesterday I went to Bicester Village (which is a designer outlet centre in Oxfordshire, England) and had a look at some lovely bags! I decided that this year I would save up and by myself that special present: a Mulberry handbag! And as I live about 45 minutes away from Bicester Village I decided I would go and have a look there and see if I could get a discount! Alas, my efforts were in vain as the cheapest discounted version of the bag I was looking for was £770 and I am NOT paying that for a bag!

But next door to Mulberry is the very lovely Michael Kors and while it was my second option, I was very impressed with the selection of beautiful bags! Of course I looked at the watches too but none of them compared to the rose gold one I already own, so I passed.

This one really caught my attention, they had a whole wall full of this pattern just in different shapes and designs of the actual bag. I really liked it and thought it looked pretty Louis Vuitton esque! And it was only £169! Now I know that might be a bit pricey to some people (the me of the past included) but for a designer, good quality handbag I thought it was actually a pretty decent price tag! The regular price is actually £260 so it was a really good discount at the outlet!

This is the Michael Kors Lilly (with TWO 'L's in the middle) and is in the size NS. It's also in the colour Brown. That's about as much information as I can find out about it from the label to be honest! But feel free to have a look for yourself.

It feels so nice and really good quality and it also looks beautiful. I chose this one because I thought it was a bit more classy and classic and would go with most outfits, which is what I would want from an expensive bag!

The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a zip in the inside, it just has a popper but it is a tote bag so it's ok! Here's a look at the inside of it:

Here are some closer looks at the bag! Tell me what you think of it in the comments below! I would love to hear your thoughts!

So what do you think?
Are there any designer bags that you are in love with?

PS: I'm going to have an "unboxing" video of this bag on my Youtube if you would like to have a look!

Beauty Blogger TAG!

Hello!
So I was lucky enough to be tagged to do The Beauty Blogger Tag!

I was tagged by the amazing Confessions Of A Mixed Beauty to do this tag!

This tag was originally created by The Beau Bow.
Here are the official rules for the Beauty Blogger Tag:
  1. State the Tag was created by The Beau Bow
  2. Tag some more beauty blogger
  3. Title it with Beauty Blogger Tag
Here we go!

Name a beauty routine you rarely do:

Hmmm. This is a bit of a hard one! The only real beauty routine I don't do is apply moisturizer. I know that is really bad but I just don't like moisturizer! I think I might start moisturizing again now that the winter months are coming up.

Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly:

To be completely honest, not really! I used to but now I don't as I often can't find the time. I do believe you should wash brushes regularly though, I am just lazy with it! My brushes are definitely due a clean!

How long will you last with chipped nail varnish:

Again, being totally honest, until it falls off. I don't really care THAT much about nails and because of college I can no longer wear nail varnish at all.

How long do you put off buying.replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it (i.e.-top coat, foundation, etc.)?

It depends what it is and how much I need it/used it before. Also the price plays an important factor in my decision. If it's pricey I will probably put it off a bit longer!

What is your worst beauty habit:

Not removing my makeup at night! It's really bad but I always seem to do it!

Name something not beauty related that you put off all the time:

Going to the gym! I took a membership but never find the time to go and I really want to start going back!

When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?

Definitely! I know that getting ready takes me approximately 45 minutes so I always allow that much time before, which I technically count as the last minute.

Can you commit to spending bans:

NO! I love spending money as bad as it sounds/is! It's like a little addiction to me and I definitely am a spendaholic/shopaholic!

How organized are your makeup and nail polish collections?

I think they are organized quite well! I have a makeup collection video on my youtube channel so check that out if you're interested! Nail polish is stored on an acrylic stand in order of brand and colour so I think it's quite organized!

What is the longest time you’ve gone without writing a blog post?

4-5 months! I'm not great at blogging when I'm not motivated! :(

Thanks so much for reading! This was a lot of fun to do!

I tag:

And anyone else that wants to do it!

Thanks to the amazing Cheyenne for tagging me!

Hope you enjoyed!

OOTD- Going Gothic + BLOG UPDATES!

Hello darling's! Long time, no see!
So I have quite a few things I need to get off my chest as you may have noticed, if you keep up with this blog and/or have been a previous visitor. I haven't been posting :(
MAIN REASON!:
I haven't really had the time or the motivation to blog! Long story short, I started college a couple of weeks ago and due to my social awkwardness, I needed a lot of time to prepare for that environment again!
That being said, I also lost my love and inspiration for blogging and youtube. I don't really have the most creative mind and I find it quite difficult to stick at things.

I am DEFINITELY back because I really love blogging and I really enjoy making youtube videos also!
I just need to make a little decision about what I want to do. I'm going to make a video making and blogging schedule and decide what "niches" and "genres" (I guess) I want my youtube and blogs to focus on!

Corset: Ebay

Now onto less boring things! I love playing dress up and a couple of months ago I went through one of my more "gothic" stages. I love symphonic metal music and after spending hours obsessing over my fave symphonic metal bands, ordering a ton of CDs and wasting my life away watching music videos, I decided to get all dolled up and channel my inner "goth chick".

So here is what I did:

My studded leather jacket is from Yours Clothing. It was around £35 in the sale (I can't REALLY remember the exact price in the sale because it was a couple months ago) and I wear it religiously. Even with "normal" outfits! I wish I had some close ups of the studding details, but it's beautiful!.

Ignore the incredibly awkward pose!
The main outfit was made up of an awesome corset I bought ages ago from Ebay! It was about £20 excl. postage, which was a couple of pounds, and is great quality! I can't remember the actual seller, but it was a plus size Ebay lingerie store. I'd wanted a corset for ages and this one is a little bit too much now I've seen a few, but I love this one and will definitely be looking for some more to buy for when I get in a dress up mood!
I paired the corset with a long, black maxi skirt from Yours Clothing. I bought the skirt a year or so back and it fits really nice. It was around £24 if I remember correctly, but it's nothing special and I'm sure you could find a cheaper alternative somewhere. I wanted the look to be a bit more traditional, so that's why I wore a skirt instead of leggings or black jeans!

I also paired the outfit with some long, black satin gloves! I found these on amazon for a bit less than £10! I don't really know why I bought them to be honest but I really like them for adding something to outfits like this and I knew I would find a use for them one day!

My serious face says it all!

For makeup, I didn't want to overdo it with a black or purple lipstick (though I did actually try a couple different colours on) and I thought red might clash with the corset colours, so I went for a nude!
For the eyes, I wanted a dark, smokeyish look. I didn't actually get any pictures of the makeup itself so the above photo is the best I could do to be honest!
I don't think I did anything amazingly out of the ordinary here so I'll leave it at that for makeup!

I really enjoyed dressing like this and I actually recreated the look (minus gloves) for a professional photoshoot I did!

But this time I DID go with a dark purple lipstick!

I really enjoyed the gothic experience and I love the style in general!

Really hope you enjoyed my first blog post back!
